Duplicate or relist a sale

Start a new sale from an old one, with all its lots or only the ones that didn't sell.

Duplicate

On any sale's Settings tab (draft, published, closed or cancelled), choose Duplicate sale. You get a new draft named "(copy)" with the same description, terms, buyer's premium, tax, pickup location, shipping, increments, soft close, closing spacing and consignors' terms.

The dates are not copied: set the preview, opening and first closing times before you publish. Registrations, invoices and consignor statements stay with the old sale. If the old sale sold firearms, choose the route and agree to the attestation again on the new one.

All lots, or only lots to relist

Choose All lots, or Only lots to relist to copy just the lots that went unsold, didn't meet their reserve, or were withdrawn. Lots keep their numbers, titles, descriptions, categories, consignors, start bids and reserves, and arrive approved, ready to publish with the new dates.

Photos

Each copied lot gets its own copy of the photos, so deleting a lot in one sale never removes photos from the other. A sale with many photos copies them in the background; the new sale shows "Copying photos" until they are all there.
