Withdraw a lot
Take a lot out of a published sale when the listing is wrong or the item can't be sold.
Delete or withdraw?
Before a sale is published, delete a lot you don't want (Delete lot on the lot, or Delete selected on the Lots tab). Once the sale is published, bidders may have seen or bid on it, so it is withdrawn instead.
Withdrawing
On the lot, choose Withdraw lot, or select several on the Lots tab and choose Withdraw selected. Pick a reason: Listing error, Item damaged or missing, Consignor withdrew, or Other (say what happened). Bidders never see the reason.
What bidders see
The lot shows Withdrawn straight away, on Catalot and on your storefront, and drops out of search and browse. Its bids are cancelled, so they don't count toward anyone's exposure, and the lot never gets an invoice line. Everyone who bid on it or watches it gets one email.
What can't be withdrawn
A lot that has closed can't be withdrawn. If it sold and shouldn't have, void it on the buyer's invoice (Invoices tab), where you can relist it. Withdrawing can't be undone; to sell the item later, duplicate the sale with the lots to relist.
